Public certificate issuance delays

Resolved

We are pleased to inform you that the issue with our certificate provider in the US East (N. Virginia) region has been fully resolved. All outstanding certificates have now been successfully issued.

To prevent similar delays in the future, we have implemented a necessary configuration change, which enhances our ability to allocate certificates more efficiently.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Investigating

We are experiencing delays in retrieving certificates from our CA in US East (N. Virginia) region. This is causing delays in the creation of certificates for new databases. As described in our documentation, new databases are started with self-signed certificates, and this should not impact database operations. While the problem persists, please use SSL mode require when connecting to your new databases.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are already working on adding an alternative provider to allocate new certificates more effectively.
