Earlier today we encountered an error in our certificate management system that triggered the reissuance of all user-facing certificates in US-East-1. The system has been stabilized, and services that were experiencing connectivity issues have now be resolved. We have made significant progress and are continuing to address services that were not impacted. This process of final certificate reissuance to services that are not impacted may take up to 24hrs.

We recently encountered an error in our certificate management system that triggered the reissuance of all user-facing certificates in US-East-1.
Impact: Users without strict certificate checking enabled will not be affected. However, users with strict certificate checking enabled may experience connectivity issues if their certificates have been invalidated.
Temporary Solution: To restore access temporarily, disable strict certificate checking. The system has been stabilized, and services that were experiencing connectivity issues should now be resolved. We have made significant progress and are continuing to address services that were not impacted, but due to reliance on an external provider for certificate reissuance, the process may take some time to complete.
